The 10th ordinary session of the SOGEOH Board of Directors took place on 8 and 9 September 2022 in Conakry, in the presence of the OMVS High Commissioner and the chair of the board.
Participants reviewed several institutional projects, notably the Koukoutamba hydropower project in Middle Guinea, whose construction could then begin as early as 2023.
SOGEOH also presented an innovative initiative: an entrepreneurship competition for young people of the Senegal River basin in the agriculture and fish farming sectors, whose winners were rewarded two days later.
