Co-financing

Co-financing of hydropower and solar infrastructure and of regional interconnection networks, on concessional, commercial or blended terms.

Technical assistance

Support for project preparation, feasibility studies, financial structuring, capacity building and sector governance.

Guarantees and risk mitigation

Guarantee instruments to strengthen project bankability and encourage private sector participation (BOT/BOOT, blended finance).

Climate finance

Carbon mechanisms and initiatives linked to climate resilience, the energy transition and biodiversity conservation.

Institutional strengthening

Support for institutional strengthening and for modernising the governance frameworks of regional and national energy sector institutions.
